Work in the outdoors in a fun recreational environment!
Now looking to hire (2) medical staffers to reside at a residential summer camp and join our team to assist in organizing and running our medical center. The team would dispense and log all daily medications. They also provide basic first aid for the daily bumps and bruises at camp as well as facilitate any emergency situation. They are responsible for inventory and stock of all first aid kits around camp as well as those created for any out of camp trips.
During the 6.5 week residential period of the season we will use a tele-health pediatrician group to assist with medical needs.
Other portions of the summer include staff training, elementary school groups and at risk youth groups.
Ideally, the applicant would be an RN, LPN, Paramedic, EMT, WFR or OEC. We would also consider a seasoned nursing student. Would live at camp for duration of employment. May consider local commute scenario.
Current need is applicants with one of the above certifications.
