Christmas Light Technician
Elves N Ladders is hiring fun, energetic employees with a positive and hardworking attitude in the Philadelphia/South Jersey area!
Training will begin the first week in September. Following the training, installations will begin. You could be averaging 10 hour days to meet deadlines. Start time is typically 7:00am with occasional overnight shifts needed (usually less than 5 in a season). A lot of overtime opportunities available.
Installs will occur from September 1st through Christmas with removals starting January 04 through the end of February and Early March.
POSITIONS AVAILABLE:
* Weekday positions
* Weekend positions
* Weekday/Weekend positions
Hourly rate will be determined by position and ability/experience.
Hourly pay $15-$25 per hour!
401K Plan available with company match!
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ability to meet at shop to load vans and go over the itinerary for the day.
- Ability to Utilize technology with iPads/smart phones for layout design and reports.
- Ability to Properly carry, maneuver, and climb ladders ranging in size from 4 feet to 40 feet (Note: ground workers will be limited to climbing certain ladders).
- Ability to stand, sit, kneel and work on pitched roofs.
-Ability to communicate, take direction and record notes properly as requested.
Qualifications:
- Must be professional and respectful of properties and clients.
- Must be able to follow safety instructions at all times.
- 18 years of age or older.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to work independently or with a team.
- Ability to be flexible as schedule becomes demanding during peak season.
