Program Leader
In partnership with Hacienda La Puente Unified School District
Responsible for overseeing the delivery of a broad range of IN PERSON programs and services to all after-school participants. Plan, develop and implement program activities with particular focus on (1) homework help, tutoring, reading or study skills (2) educational enrichment, (3) physical education activities. Staff will follow and implement program schedule on a daily basis.
Example of Duties:
· Help children with Homework
· Develop daily activity plans for enrichment and physical activities
· Plan, Supervise and Facilitate Physical Education Activities
· Plan, Supervise and Facilitate Enrichment Activities
· Supervise a group of up to 20 students (Elementary, Middle and K-8 schools)
· Implement discipline techniques and classroom management
· Ensure all youth are properly supervised and encouraged to participate in activities
· Record and submit daily attendance records of participants
· Ensure program areas are cleaned before you depart for the day
Condition of Employment and Benefits:
This is a 10 month part-time seasonal, non-benefited, non-exempt position with an hourly rate ranging from $18.00-$20.000 per hour DOE from (August 2022-May 2023). This position requires you to be available for work Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 2:00-6:00p.m. Early Thursday release times vary by school, if applicable. Program begins immediately following the end of the school day. Minimum Days will be listed on each school calendar.
**New hires who complete 90 days with the organization will receive a $500 bonus.**
