POSITION: CASHIER
The Cashier at Noodlelove at Flagship City Food Hall will be a crucial part of the FOH team. We are looking for friendly, passionate and hard-working Cashiers to join our team. We encourage growth and movement within the company.

Noodlelove is a culinary lifestyle dedicated to delicious and healthy Asian food + the commitment to serving love daily. We are inspired by traditional Asian cuisines, which we have reinterpreted using high-quality, smartly sourced, and natural ingredients. Our goal is to introduce guilt-free options without sacrificing bold and exotic flavors. We serve food that nourishes your body, mind, heart, and soul. Our menu is inspired by food memories and stories throughout our founder's journey--from childhood to her world travels. And we proudly source a few ingredients from the beautiful farms in her hometown of Lancaster, PA. We're a counter-service restaurant, your everyday lunch pick-up, or a hip destination for your casual sit-down dinner. And our secret ingredient is always love.

REQUIREMENTS

A high school diploma
Clear concise written and verbal communication skills in English; second language is an asset
Must be flexible in terms of working hours, including work long hours
QSR or Fast Casual dining experience preferred
High-volume experience preferred
Basic business math and accounting skills
Computer/POS Terminal experience preferred
Cash and credit card handling experience preferred
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
Certification in Food Safety strongly desired

RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintain fast, accurate service, positive guest relations, and ensure products are consistent with company and brand quality standards
Responsibility for maintaining the highest standards of food and beverage quality
Interact with guests in the most diplomatic manner
Profit & Loss management by following established procedures regarding costs and inventory, handling of products, etc.
Comply at all times with Noodlelove standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient operations
Follows Noodlelove telephone etiquette standards
Follows Occupational Health & Safety regulations
Ensures adherence to Noodlelove Employee Handbook
Ensures equipment and kitchen cleanliness
Keeps production of food and beverage at an adequate level, which does not result in excessive leftovers and waste
Continuous development of industry knowledge and application of developments and trends to stay current while maintaining the highest standards
Maintain safety by adhering to stated safety policies
Maintain cleanliness and food safety by adhering to health, sanitation, and food safety laws and standards
Responsible for adhering to brand standards of Noodlelove.
Maintain counter, beverage systems, refrigerators and kitchen in clean, organized manner with all food items labeled and dated to facilitate the necessary production to achieve company goals
Complete responsibility for compliance of Noodlelove Codes of Conduct
Other duties as required by the Food & Beverage Director, and/or the Leadership teams of Noodlelove for the successful operation of the restaurant
ADDITIONAL

Skills and ability to: Ability to communicate in the English language (Second language is a plus); must be a team player. Knowledge of proper chemical handling, cleaning techniques and use of equipment/ machinery, ability to work flexible schedules including holidays and weekends; able to perform multiple tasks.
Physical Requirements: Must be able to work in a fast paced environment, must be physically fit in order to lift, pull and push items up to 50 pounds. Also requires standing/walking/reaching and bending throughout shift.
