Nanny

BROOKFIELD, WI (LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY)-The sweetest first-time parents just outside of Milwaukee seek a FULL-TIME NANNY for their happy 9-month-old boy. Core hours are from 10am-5pm Monday, 8am-6pm Tuesday-Wednesday, 8am-5pm Thursday and 8am-2pm Friday (schedule can be flexible and subject to change). They are more focused on finding the right person more than the perfect schedule! Position is slated to be 1 year in duration from August 2022 - July 2023. Their son has grade 3 brain bleed with diagnosis TBD. He is well functioning but needs someone who is comfortable with OT/PT exercises and can continue his development. Nanny will be responsible for bottle feeding (he can be a finicky eater!), working with physical and occupational therapists in and out of the home and practicing prescribed exercises at home, administering medications (via bottle), etc. They seek a nanny who is CPR Certified, well-spoken and willing to put in the work with OT/PT exercises, helpful if certified to do so. Must be comfortable with giving medications and watching for potential seizures or other unusual activity (diagnosed with infantile spasms, but none noted after treatment). They seek a hardworking, dedicated, and caring individual. Someone who is patient, willing to chat with the baby, be silly, and get on his level! Must be motivated and committed to his development. They appreciate someone who is familiar and comfortable working with infants with medical needs. Must be vaccinated for COVID. He smiles and giggles a lot and is getting back to loving solids! He wakes around 7, takes 2-3 naps during the day with 2-3.5 hour awake windows. Has 2 medications during the day that the nanny will be responsible for administering. Dad works from home 80% of the time and is available to help! Training by the parents will be provided to ensure that the nanny is comfortable with feedings, activities, exercises, etc. Pay is $20-30+/hour DOE (a plus if you have experience working with infants with medical/special needs). Benefits include paid vacation, holidays and sick days. Start date is ideally August 1st, but somewhat flexible for the right candidate.
