Caring Community Counseling is seeking LMHC, LCSW, & LMFT to join our agency. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge base of psychology, therapy, and counseling. At Caring Community Counseling, we serve individuals, children, couples, and families, in the community. We are looking for a compassionate individual who would like to grow with our practice.

This is an independent contractor position and we offer competitive contract rates. You set your schedule! This position will start with part time hours and if desired, a transition to full-time hours is available immediately.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Licensed Assessors are trained and licensed to treat clients with emotional, behavioral, and mental disorders. Therapists work in conjunction with psychiatrists, doctors, and case managers, and refer to the appropriate level of care.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
? The therapist is responsible for assisting and supporting patients through the entire treatment experience from patient assignment through discharge. The Counselor determines whether the needs additional treatment.
? Refer clients to specialists if necessary.
? The therapist is responsible for monitoring the course of treatment for each patient in a pro-active manner to ensure that no problem or trouble may compromise the clients or treatment staff's effort contributing insightful, practical, and meaningful information to the treatment planning process
? The therapist is responsible for directing clients in a clear, concise, and informative matter. Familiarizes the client with expectations of treatment plan.
? Diagnose and treat mental health disorders.
? Facilitate session with individuals, groups or families.
? Create a treatment plan based on each client's needs.
? Monitor client progress during treatment.

QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:
? A Master's Degree in Psychology
? Prior experience in psychotherapy.
? Clinical mental health license with the state of Florida
? Excellent communication skills.
? Empathy for clients.
? Confidentiality with client information.
? Must be willing to attend all training, education, and staff enrichment activities
? Must understand the therapeutic process; understand confidentiality laws, and strong knowledge of professional ethics
? Must demonstrate tact, initiative, resourcefulness, professional manner, enthusiasm and a non-judgmental attitude
