Graphic Designer for Social Media

(Freelance/Part-Time)

About Simcoach Games:

Simcoach Games is dedicated to enhancing lives through the power of gamification. We develop engaging games, apps, and simulations aimed at supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), focusing on behavioral health and autism.

Project Overview:

We are seeking a talented freelance/part-time graphic designer to create visually compelling content for our social media platforms. Our top priorities are to drive sales of our individual games and educate our target audiences on their uses and benefits. You will collaborate with our team to create content that aligns with both the overarching Simcoach brand and the unique branding of each game. 

Responsibilities: 

Graphic Design for Social Media:

  • Design engaging and visually appealing images and short videos that highlight our games and their benefits for various social media platforms.
  • Ensure visuals are tailored to drive sales on third-party platforms (Apple App Store, Google Play Store, itch.io, and Steam).
  • Reflect the unique branding of each individual game while maintaining alignment with the overall Simcoach brand identity.
  • Utilize game-related assets provided by Simcoach Games or create original assets as needed.
  • Adapt designs to optimize performance across different social media platforms.

 Collaborate with Content Team:

  • Work closely with our team to transform provided copy into visually engaging content that educates target audiences on the uses and benefits of our games.
  • Suggest creative ways to enhance the impact of social media posts, balancing the educational aspect with the goal of driving game sales.

 Video Content Creation:

  • Design short-form video clips (e.g., game trailers, feature highlights, tutorials) for use in social media feeds and stories.
  • Incorporate animations or transitions to increase engagement and convey key messages about game benefits and features.

 Preferred Skills:

  • Proficiency in any graphic design tool (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Figma, etc.)—we are tool-agnostic.
  • Experience designing both static images and video content for social media.
  • Knowledge of social media design trends, platform-specific best practices, and strategies for promoting apps and games.

 Project Requirements:

  • Clear communication skills to collaborate with the team and incorporate feedback.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage deadlines and ensure timely delivery of content.
  • A portfolio showcasing graphic design work, particularly for projects focused on promoting products across multiple platforms.

Project Timeline:  We are looking to start with a small engagement to assess fit and performance. Based on performance, we may expand the scope of work.

Rates and Budget: Please include your proposed hourly rate or project fee. We’re open to discussing rates based on your experience and the scope of work.
