St. Mark’s Lutheran Church has been located in downtown Butler Pa for over 200 years is looking to hire a part time Youth Ministry Leader (YML).  We have a church family of staff and volunteers that share God’s Word and love with our youth and also the youth of our Butler community.  In addition to our weekly Sunday School and Children’s Church, we are in the midst of our 50th year of Children’s Hour.  Our Children’s Hour preschool type program ministers to over fifty youth.

This YML position is about 20/wk and pays $14.75/hr with some flexibility on the work schedule.  The YML would work collectively with the Pastor and volunteers to operate the programs listed above.  Due to COVID and other factors, several other programs have been suspended but will hopefully become active again.

Applicants must enjoy working with children in a family friendly atmosphere.  A college degree is preferred but not required and experience in teaching or working with children is desired.  Check us out on our website, YouTube, or facebook page.
