Welder

We are seeking an entry level Welder/Metal Fabricator to join our team. They will be responsible for operating a variety of hand, power tools and machinery, and will utilize welding techniques to fabricate metal components and assist with installations.

Responsibilities:

- Fabricate and assemble metal structures and equipment
- Read and interpret engineering blueprints and schematics
- Operate hand tools such as calipers, pipe threading machines, soldering equipment, etc.
- Utilize power tools for cutting, grinding, and shaping metal
- Perform Stick welding and Flux-Cored Arc Welding (FCAW) techniques
- Work with various materials mainly including steel & aluminum
- Ensure finished products meet quality standards

Requirements:

- Use FCAW, stick welding, and soldering techniques
- Basic understanding in fabricating metal components
- Ability to read and interpret schematics
- Familiarity with using standard measurement tools
- Competency in working with hand tools and power tools
- Some knowledge of pipe/tube terminology and specs
- Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship
