Tutor

This is a part time learning coach position to help guide a child who does school at home. He is attending an online school and has live classes daily on Zoom with his teachers. He will need assistance with his classwork outside of the live classes. You will have training materials from the school to help assist you as a learning coach. Essentially you would review his lessons that he must complete on his own daily and help him as needed if he does not understand how to complete the lesson by explaining it to him or going through examples with him to make sure he can complete the task. You will also need to ask him questions to help him think deeper about the lesson and make sure he understands the lesson. Last you will make sure he completes his assessments and quizzes for each lesson in addition to reviewing with him any questions he may have gotten wrong to ensure he understands how to tackle that question in future. You will need to work with him about 4 hours a day and will be paid weekly for all work with him. There are online library's in his school portal and all supplies will be supplied by his parents. Snacks and drinks will also be supplied daily. You will receive an end of semester bonus on top of your weekly salary based on the child's overall school performance that semester. There are two full semesters of school so you have the opportunity for a bonus each semester as well as a glowing reference when needed. He is a great kid!!
