Twist Kitchen & Juice Bar is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic individual to join our team. As a valued team member you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and crafting delicious menu items. If you have a passion for healthy food and enjoy creating memorable experiences for customers, we would love to hear from you.

Duties:

  • Greet and serve customers in a timely and friendly manner.
  • Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences.
  • Prepare and serve smoothies, acai bowls, fresh juices and food.
  • Perform all support tasks; including preparing produce, juicing, cleaning and maintaining all equipment, and restocking.
  • Clean indoor and outdoor dining areas, prep areas and bathrooms. Remove trash and recycling.
  • Accurately register orders in the POS, receive payments, balance cash and use a computer.
  • Perform all opening and closing procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Be able to stand or walk for long periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs.

Requirements:

  • Excellent customer service, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Enthusiasm, professionalism and a positive attitude.
  • Be able to multitask and be detail oriented, with excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods.
  • Ability to learn new systems and procedures.
  • Demonstrate ability to understand both oral and written instructions.
  • Be available to work early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
  • Adhere to uniform policies and standards of conduct set out in our Employee Handbook.
  • Act with integrity and trust, promoting our cafe and our core values.
  • Previous experience in food service
  • Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Knowledge of food handling safety regulations

All candidates must pass a pre-employment background check. Food service, barista or hospitality experience preferred but not required.

Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal

Pay: $13.25 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 35 per week
