Our enrichment programming, products, and services provide young children and their families with full access to a comprehensive and educational approach that is designed to engage the inquisitive and active learner.

Our Little Learners Studio offers a variety of enrichment classes for children ranging in age from 18 months to six years old. Small group classes, taught by highly qualified teachers, support a love for learning in a variety of areas including: literacy, math, science, foreign language, cooking, art and music. In keeping with our vision, classes are held in our nurturing, yet sophisticated environment, where direct instruction is balanced with discovery play.

Our teaching team is small but mighty! We place a heavy emphasis on collegial collaboration, professional development, and overall job satisfaction. Each member of our team is valued, supported, and appreciated for the unique skills that they are choosing to share with us!

We are currently seeking one Lead Enrichment Teachers. The position will be based on 18-20 hours per week, Monday/Wednesday/Friday running from September 2024-June 2025. We are hopeful that the right candidate will become a long-term member of our Learn'ique family.

Lead Enrichment Teacher Requirements

  • A minimum of a BA is preferred, although it does not need to be specifically in early childhood education. We also welcome candidates who possess their CDA, and/or the equivalent in classroom teaching experience.
  • We are looking for someone who is warm, nurturing, reliable, and who genuinely loves working with young children ages 3-6 years old.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a desire to be a part of a dynamic teaching team.
  • Experience with technology and social media platforms is a plus.
  • Experience with the Handwriting Without Tears program is a plus.
  • An ability to multi-task is a plus.

Lead Enrichment Teacher Job Responsibilities

  • Carry out our carefully developed enrichment curriculum suitable for children ages 3-6 years old.
  • Develop a proficiency and understanding of the Handwriting Without Tears curriculum.
  • Manage a classroom of 14 preschool-aged children with the support of one teaching assistant.
  • Employ a variety of educational and teaching techniques in an effort to support a diverse group of early learners. (i.e. literacy instruction, math, science, storytelling, educational play, music etc.).
  • Encourage social-emotional development by supporting children in building healthy peer relationships and conflict resolution skills.
  • Maintain an organized, clean, and academically enriching classroom space that is consistent with safety standards and overall learning goals.
  • Supervise snack and lunch times to ensure that the children are safe at all times.
  • Track children’s daily activities through the use of photo documentation, and posts to our online parent communication app.
  • Communicate respectfully with parents regarding their children's progress.
  • Collaborate enthusiastically with other teaching team members and staff.
