Miracle Swimming School for Adults has been revolutionizing adult swimming instruction for over 40 years with our proprietary, fail-proof teaching system. Our mission is to help adults overcome their fear in deep water and prevent drowning by ensuring each individual feels comfortable, peaceful, and confident in water.

After decades of teaching thousands of adult students, Miracle Swimming is now poised for expansion and is building a team that will elevate our teaching platform to become nationally and globally recognized.

We are looking to fill this role with a candidate who is eager to make a big impact in an organization dedicated to transforming lives and reforming an antiquated system.

We are searching for a qualified Operations Manager to oversee our instruction programs and manage our team of dedicated instructors. Your responsibilities will include establishing work plans and staff assignments for swim classes, managing the systems and processes of the swim school, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and Execute Swim Programs: Develop and oversee swim class schedules, registration, ensure classes are delivered effectively, and stay connected to our clients.
  • Manage Daily Operations: Ensure all operational activities align with our standards, resolve issues, and oversee the performance of the instruction team.
  • Staff Supervision and Training: Coordinate and lead a team, develop processes and procedures, and ensure high-quality instruction across all classes
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve daily processes, enhance efficiencies, and elevate the overall experience for our students.

  • Comfortable with technology, able to implement new systems and troubleshoot issues as needed.
  • High ethical standards, accountability, and the ability to self-manage effectively.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience managing teaching programs or management within a school.
  • A college degree is preferred, but we are open to candidates with the right combination of experience and skills
  • Relevant experience working directly with key decision makers
  • Must have strong organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines, with an exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as outstanding proofreading skills
  • Must be a self-starter and able to independently move projects forward, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines with little supervision or direction
  • Must have strong people skills and be willing to work with a wide range of personalities
  • Unique Qualification: Qualified non-swimmers who are eager to overcome their fear of water are encouraged to apply! We will accept swimmers, too.
  • Ability to commute to Sarasota, Florida

Perks/Benefits:

  • This role will begin as part-time and starts with an hourly wage between $22.00 and $27.00 depending on experience and related skills.
  • Part-time hours will be 15-20 per week to start.
