About Us:
Join our dedicated team at Hisar Academy, where we prioritize fostering a stimulating learning environment. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Middle School Science and Social Studies Teacher to engage and inspire students from 6th to 8th grades.
Position Details:
- Grade Levels: 6th to 8th grades (rotational teaching with 8 students at a time)
- Curriculum: American K12
Schedule:
- Monday through Thursday
- 11 am to 2 pm
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum of two years of experience teaching upper elementary and/or middle school students
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans for science and social studies
- Foster critical thinking and analytical skills through interactive class discussions and activities
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback on assignments and exams
- Regularly update the school information system with student progress, homework, and project expectations
- Maintain regular, constructive communication with parents to support student growth and confidence
Skills:
- Strong organizational skills for effective classroom planning and management
- Experience working with students of diverse backgrounds and abilities
- Excellent communication skills to engage students in meaningful discussions and presentations
- Creative writing abilities to develop captivating lesson materials
- Effective classroom management techniques to maintain a productive learning environment
Work Location:
In-person at Hisar Academy
