Retail Sales Associate
Bibs and Kids Boutique is a children's apparel, shoes, and accessories store. Our business is highly focused on customer service and providing an informed, efficient, and satisfying shopping experience to our customers. Therefore, Bibs and Kids is seeking an energetic, enthusiastic, and hard working person to join our staff. We are looking for employees who exhibit drive, motivation, an ability to watch, listen, learn, and pick up new skills quickly. We want to build our team with people who enjoy working, who enjoy helping and assisting customers, and who bring a positive attitude every day.
There are many roles and responsibilities associated with this job. You will wear many hats in this position, and the following list is just a small sample of the things that you will be asked to do.
- Work as a Sales Associate: Greet and assist customers, run the cash register, answer phone calls, respond to social media messages, and help provide a great shopping experience for each and every customer.
- Assist with website maintenance, social media posts, and social media interactions. We are a small team and everyone is expected to learn how to help in these areas. This involves everything from posting inventory to the website, setting sales/discount codes for the website, taking photos for social media, etc.
- Inventory Management: receive, unpack, tag, steam, hang, and fold inventory. Learn and get to know every product and product line so you are informed and can satisfactorily and efficiently assist customers.
- Merchandising: This is the process of organizing the inventory on the sales floor. A well merchandised store is one that is clean, inviting, organized, and easy to shop! This is both an art and a science, but an extremely important part of retail!
- Cleaning: Yes, we are a small team, and everyone is expected to help maintain a clean storefront!
And many more, such as giftwrap, fit children for shoes, and order office supplies.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 32 per week
