Respiratory Therapist

Mill Plain Medical is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team providing DME services for our Respiratory Care patients.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Review medical documentation to determine patient's condition and treatment protocols
• Configure positive airway pressure (PAP) devices, perform mask fittings, and educate patients regarding PAP therapy and use of equipment and supplies.
• Answer and return phone calls from established patients, provide continuing support and troubleshoot to maximize patient adherence to therapy.
• Provide patient instruction for sleep related needs including but not limited to; correct use of PAP therapy, mask fittings, follow up instructions, scheduling procedures and compliance requirements.
• Maintain patient records and confidentiality
• Inspects and tests equipment to ensure proper operating conditions
• Assist with patient scheduling as needed.
• Performs other duties as required.

ABOUT YOU:

• Graduate of an accredited program for respiratory therapy and registered by the National Board of Respiratory Care.
• Registered Respiratory Therapy License
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; problem-solving; and time management skills.
