Preschool Teacher

The Preschool Teacher (working with children 2 1/2-3 1/2 years) position is a part time position.

- Monday-Friday, 7-1pm.

Note - Extra hours may be available if interested in becoming a Substitute within other classrooms (extra hours will not impact current hours for the Long-Term Preschool Teacher position).

Responsibilities

• Assist in lesson plans and activities; follow daily schedule and ratios (1:8)
• Provide input on each child's development
• Ensure the safety and well-being of the children, providing a pleasant classroom environment
• Maintain communication with Lead Teacher and parents
• Become knowledgeable in state licensing standards and policies/procedures of the center
• Participate in staff meetings
• Complete 6 Professional Development Training hours, per year

Education and Experience (Current)

• Required: minimum High School Diploma
• Complete required trainings within first 30 and 90 days of employment
