St. Aidan's Preschool Academy is a half day preschool in Milton. We offer a balanced work/play environment for our students with small class sizes. Our curriculum is Christian-based and our teachers have the ability to work one-on-one with each child to help them fulfill their potential.

We are in need of a teachers who are fluent in Spanish!

We are looking for experienced and enthusiastic Teachers to join our team. The ideal candidate for this position will have a passion for teaching young children and will be able to create a stimulating learning environment that encourages curiosity and exploration. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering lessons, assessing student progress, and working with parents to ensure the best possible outcomes for each student.

Hours for the positions are 8:30-1:30 Monday-Friday or Monday - Thursday. We are hiring for a lead teacher position and assistant teacher positions. Prior experience is required. Training is provided. Positions start in August. Must be able to commit to the entire school year.

Responsibilities:

  • Instruct preschool-aged children in activities designed to promote intellectual and creative growth
  • Create a fun and safe learning environment
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with students and parents
  • Maintain the health and safety of all students
  • Teach children basic skills such as identifying colors, shapes, numbers, and letters
  • Work with children in groups or one on one, depending on the needs of children and on the subject matter
  • Plan and carry out a curriculum that focuses on different areas of child development
  • Organize activities so children can learn about the world, explore interests, and develop skills
  • Develop schedules and routines to ensure children have enough physical activity and rest
  • Watch for signs of emotional or developmental problems in each child and bring them to the attention of the child’s parents
  • Keep records of the children’s progress, routines, and interests, and inform parents about their child’s development

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in childcare, teaching, or other related fields
  • Passionate about working with children
  • Ability to build rapport with children
  • Positive and patient demeanor
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English & Spanish
