Job Title: Lord of Grace Preschool Director; 7250 N. Cortana Rd, Tucson, Arizona 85743


Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Preschool Director to oversee the daily operations of Lord of Grace Preschool and play a key role in growing and maintaining enrollment by promoting and recruiting new students. The ideal
candidate will build strong relationships with students and their families, supervise and evaluate teachers and aides, and guide their ongoing education and training. Additionally, they will develop and implement the curriculum and provide information to both the congregation and the public.


Responsibilities:
- Ensures that our program follows all Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS) Regulations. Prepare for annual inspection and correct problem areas in a timely fashion. Arrange monthly fire drills. Prepare immunization report and report on
communicable diseases.
- Ensures Academy operations by promoting and recruiting of new students and teachers when needed. Maintain complete files for each student containing pertinent health and family information. Maintain and keep current files for each teacher and aide, including fingerprint cards, current education hours as well as CPR/first aid training records.
- Register new and returning students each year. Collect and record monthly tuition. Handle parent concerns or grievances as needed. Conduct orientations and special events.
- Maintain appropriate staffing according to ADHS Regulations. Fill in for teachers as needed.
- Complete 18 hours of continuing education yearly.
- Coach and Supervise teachers to ensure activities are in line with the mission of the Preschool School and the standards set forth in ECERS (Early Childhood Environment Rating Scale).
 

Qualifications:
The Academy Director must be 21 years of age or older, provide written documentation of High School Diploma or Equivalent
and one of the following:
a. Six credit hours or more in early childhood, child development, or closely related field in an accredited college or university or 60 actual hours of instruction, provided in conferences, seminars, lectures, or workshops in the areas of early childhood, child
development, or closely related field, and an additional 12 hours of instruction, provided in conferences, seminars, lectures or workshops in the area of program administration, planning, development or management plus 24 months or more of childcare experience.
b. N.A.C., C.D.A., C.C.P., or C.P.C. credential and at least 18 months of child care experience.
c. A minimum of 24 credit hours from an accredited college or university, including at least 6 credit hours of course work in the areas of early childhood, child development, or closely related field and 18 months of child care experience.
d. Associate degree from an accredited college or university in the areas of early childhood, child development, or closely related field, and 6 months of child care experience.
e. Bachelor degree from an accredited college or university in the area of early childhood, child development, or closely related field, and 3 months of childcare experience. Must have or obtain current fingerprinting clearance and pass a background check prior to employment. Must have current CPR training or ability to obtain.
