Job description

Job Title: Part-Time Occupational Therapist (10 hours per week, weekends required)

Responsibilities:

Facilitate Group Activities:

Plan and lead group sessions that promote sensory exploration, social interaction, and motor development.

Create engaging activities tailored to neurodiverse children’s needs, such as cooperative games, art projects, and movement-based play.

Sensory Play Skills:

Develop and implement sensory-rich experiences within the gym setting.

Use sensory equipment (swings, tactile surfaces, etc.) to enhance children’s sensory processing and regulation.

Collaboration:

Collaborate with parents and caregivers to reinforce therapeutic goals at home.

Documentation:

Maintain accurate records of each child’s progress, including observations, assessments, and treatment plans.

Requirements:

Licensing Requirements:

Occupational Therapists must be licensed in Ohio. National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) exam

Minimum of 3 YEARS of years of experience working with neurodiverse children.

Availability to work weekends (Saturday OR Sunday).

Job Types: Part-time, PRN

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 – 10 per week
