Job Description:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and professional Medical Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a medical setting, preferably in allergy or immunology, and will be comfortable performing both clinical and administrative duties. This role involves working closely with our physicians, patients, and office staff to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Responsibilities:

Assist the physician with patient care, including taking medical histories, vital signs, and preparing patients for exams.
Administer allergy tests, skin tests, and prepare allergy injections.
Maintain accurate patient records and update medical charts.
Manage patient flow and ensure exam rooms are stocked and sanitized.
Schedule appointments, manage patient communications, and handle phone inquiries.
Process insurance verifications and authorizations.
Assist with inventory management and ordering medical supplies.
Provide patient education and instructions for allergy treatments and medications.
Qualifications:

Medical Assistant Certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) required.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a medical office setting, preferably in allergy or immunology.
Strong knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
Proficient in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
