Job Title: Cook

Location: Las Vegas, NV

Reports To: Head Chef/Kitchen Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Cook to join our team. The Cook will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals in accordance with company recipes and standards. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, strong culinary skills, and a commitment to maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen environment.


 

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Food Preparation:
  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards.
  • Ensure that all food is cooked to the appropriate temperature and consistency.
  • Taste and adjust seasonings as needed.
  1. Kitchen Operations:
  • Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies and ingredients.
  • Ensure that all cooking equipment and utensils are clean and in good working order.
  • Follow all health and safety guidelines in the kitchen.
  1. Menu Planning and Execution:
  • Assist in the development of new menu items and specials.
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef/Kitchen Manager to ensure a consistent and high-quality food offering.
  1. Quality Control:
  • Monitor food quality and presentation to ensure consistency and excellence.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times.
  1. Inventory and Ordering:
  • Assist in managing inventory and ordering supplies as needed.
  • Ensure proper storage of all food items and ingredients.
  1. Team Collaboration:
  • Work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient operation.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior kitchen staff as needed.

  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Culinary degree or relevant certification.
