These positions would be September 2024-May 2025

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for preschool children age 3-5
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow.
- Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development in young children.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and creativity.
- Manage classroom behavior and implement effective behavior management strategies.
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to support children's educational and developmental needs.
- Monitor and assess children's progress, providing individualized attention and support as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of children's attendance, progress, and development.

All current positions begin at 8:30am, and end at 12:00pm.

Current programs that need filled would be Tuesday + Thursday or Mon+Wed+Fri

Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a daycare or preschool setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices.
- Strong understanding of early intervention strategies for children with special needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.

- Sufficient mobility to allow for getting eye level with a 3 year old, picking up a child if needed, functioning within a preschool sized classroom, doing large motor activities with a class, and moving easily throughout a building with multiple flights of stairs. 
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans that promote active learning and critical thinking.
- Patience, flexibility, and the ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of individual students.
- CPR, First Aid, Child Abuse and Communicable Disease certification must be obtained once hired.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: starting $10.45 - $13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 7 – 15 per week
