Job Title: Landscape and Property Maintenance & Repair Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape and Property Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work, a keen eye for detail, and experience in landscape maintenance and property upkeep. The ideal candidate will have a diverse skill set and experience in various maintenance and repair tasks. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. You will be responsible for ensuring that our properties are well-maintained, aesthetically pleasing, and healthy.  Candidate that meets expectations will be offered full time job. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform regular landscaping tasks, including mowing, trimming, planting, and weeding.
  • Maintain and care for trees, shrubs, and flower beds, ensuring proper growth and appearance.
  • Operate and maintain landscape equipment such as mowers, trimmers, and blowers.
  • Perform general maintenance and repairs in residential and commercial properties, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting tasks.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues efficiently and effectively.
  • Conduct property inspections and identify areas needing repairs or improvements.
  • Assist with seasonal preparations, including snow removal, leaf collection, and holiday decorations.
  • Maintain irrigation systems and ensure proper water usage.
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and property management regarding maintenance needs.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional landscaping or horticulture education is a plus.
  • Previous experience in landscape maintenance or property upkeep preferred.
  • Knowledge of plants, gardening techniques, and landscape design.
  • Ability to operate landscaping equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Strong physical stamina and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
