Thrive Therapy & Social Center is actively seeking a qualified Early Intervention Specialist/ EI lead to join our exceptional team and who are passionate about making a positive impact. By adopting an innovative and forward-thinking approach, Thrive provides exceptional Early Intervention, Social Skills, Speech, and OT services in the Pajaro/Royal Oaks, Watsonville, Freedom, Aptos, Soquel, Capitola, Santa Cruz, Scotts Valley, Ben Lomond, Boulder Creek, Davenport area. Our therapists are empowered by the guidance of experienced program supervisors, including BCBA's, Speech Therapists, and Occupational Therapists, ensuring ample support and professional growth opportunities. Initial training will be held in our headquarters San Jose, CA.

Qualifications:

  • Reliable means of transportation with proof of auto insurance and Driver’s license
  • Must pass TB test and show proof of immunizations/full Covid vaccinations-mandated
  • B.A/ B.S Child Development, Psychology and/or related field
  • Minimum of 12 ECE units
  • Must pass criminal background check
  • Previous experience with childcare or related field.
  • 1-2 year experience in early childhood development preferred/Ages 0-3 years old
  • Ability to build rapport with children and their parents
  • Positive and patient demeanor
  • Bilingual is a plus
  • Knowledgeable of methodologies found to benefit children with developmental delays,

Responsibilities

  • Educate parents and implement an early intervention plan
  • Create a positive and nurturing environment for the children/infants
  • Perform a variety of tasks defined on the treatment plan
  • Data taking
  • Professional documentation such as notes, progress, intervention reports

Job Type: Part-time

County Locations: Santa Clara County

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
