Dance Instructor

Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Dance Instructor to join our team. As a Dance Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching various dance styles to students of all ages and skill levels. Your role will involve creating engaging lesson plans, providing constructive feedback, and fostering a positive learning environment.

Duties:
- Develop and implement dance curriculum based on the needs and abilities of students
- Teach dance techniques, choreography, and routines in various styles such as ballet, jazz, hip-hop, contemporary, etc.
- Demonstrate proper dance techniques and provide individualized instruction to students
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback for improvement
- Ensure the safety of students during dance classes and rehearsals
- Collaborate with other instructors and staff members to coordinate schedules and events
- Maintain a clean and organized dance studio environment

Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Dance Instructor or in a related role
- Extensive knowledge of various dance styles and techniques
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well with students of all ages and skill levels
- Excellent classroom management and behavior management skills
- Experience working with children, including early childhood education or childcare experience
- Knowledge of special education principles is a plus
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- CPR/First Aid certification is preferred
