Certified Nursing Assistant
Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our team. As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will provide essential care and support to patients in home settings. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals in need.
Duties:
- Assist patients with daily activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
- Administer medications under the supervision of a nurse
- Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring patient safety
- Maintain a clean and organized patient environment
- Follow all protocols and procedures in accordance with HIPAA regulations
- Provide care for individuals with developmental disabilities, behavioral health issues, or senior care needs
Requirements:
- Valid certification as a Nursing Assistant or completion of an accredited nursing assistant program
- Experience in providing patient care, preferably in a healthcare or home care setting
- Knowledge of basic medical terminology and procedures
- Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Compassionate and empathetic nature
