** We are currently hiring for serval clients in the Northwest Suburbs. Part time and full time shifts available. We have shifts ranging in 4 hours/day-12 hours/day-make your own schedule! We focus on finding a long-term fit that matches your comfort level and experience. We want this to be a good fit for you too!

Job Types: Full time/ Part time

Experience: 2 year minimum required

Expected hours: 15-40 per week

Work location: In person

Responsibilities:

  • Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
  • Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside ( doctors appointments, walks etc.)
  • Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
  • Be a pleasant and supportive companion
  • Do the client's shopping or accompanying them when they shop
  • Help clients take prescribed medication
  • Preform light housekeeping duties that clients can't complete on their own
  • Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the clients ( when they are able)
  • Report any unusual incidents

Skills:

  • Good time management skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Physical endurance
  • Proven experience as a caregiver
  • Respectful and compassionate
  • Strong ethics
  • Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards
