Job  Title: Cake Decorator             

Position Summary:

The Cake Decorator will prepare and decorate cake products under the supervision of the Cake Decorating Manager.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Exhibit passionate behavior in ensuring the best product is produced.
  • Ice and decorate cupcakes, cakes and as needed cookies.
  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • May take orders via phone or face to face if needed.
  • Assist with inventory of product supplies.
  • Must be aware and adhere to ServSafe food safety practices and procedures at all times.
  • Maintain a presentable appearance and practice excellent personal hygiene at all times.
  • Adheres to all policies and procedures per Serpe’s Employee Handbook.
  • May perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
  • Follows time reporting system for recording hours worked.

Required Skills and Ability:

Must be able to multi-task in a fast paced environment.

Good verbal and written communication skills. 

Ability to lift 35 lbs.

Must be able to work in freezer for short period of time.

Certifications and Memberships:

ServSafe certification a definite plus but not required.

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma/ GED required.

Must possess a minimum of 2 years of cake decorating experience using an airbrush
