Reports to: CEO, COO, CCO, Lead BCBA, and Direct Supervisor

Job Overview: 

Behavior Technicians are responsible for implementing daily programs selected by BCBA/BCaBA/QBHP to be beneficial for kiddo receiving services. Behavior technicians are additionally responsible for reading and understanding the individualized treatment plans, behavior intervention plans, and other specific interventions for each kiddo they service. 

Responsibilities/Essential Functions: The person in this position must be able to perform the following essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations. 

•Conduct quality 1:1 ABA therapy to clients in a clinic-based setting.

•Implement ABA treatment programs, in a variety of settings, as written and directed by the Clinical Supervisor.

•Collect data to monitor the progress and effectiveness of the individualized treatment plan utilizing data collection software. Communicate any issues with Clinical Supervisor in a timely fashion. 

•Provide hands-on, direct care while following the principles of ABA.

•Adhere to all policies and procedures, including, but not limited to confidentiality and mandated reporting standards. 

•Communicating clearly and effectively- both orally and written- with clients, families, and colleagues. 

•Provide regular written and verbal progress on treatment goals. Review and implement consultation/supervision note recommendations.

•Open and close the clinic if required.

•Fill in with clients as needed.

•Attending meetings and trainings as required.

•Must maintain all necessary documents, complete required trainings as designated by HR Specialist, etc. to stay in compliance with county 

Behavior Technician Skills and Qualifications:

  • Behavior Technicians must have the ability to regulate their time and emotions, to be a consistent, positive presence in our kiddo’s lives. Additionally, the ability to regulate self, adequately utilize supervision time, and complete required documents in an objective and timely manner is required to be successful in this position. Technicians must be capable of regular attendance and have excellent written and oral communication skills.
