Bar Mitzvah Tutor

Cantor with growing Bar/Bat Mitzvah tutoring business is searching for tutors to teach children to read Hebrew, Judaic studies using the program’s curriculum, and prayers. Knowledge of Torah and Haftarah trope is not necessary, but must be able to use the cantor’s recordings to teach the children their Torah portions. Would prefer someone with a teaching or religious school teaching background. Searching for a candidate with excellent organizational skills, must have use of a computer, compassionate about teaching, used positive reinforcement, and able to drive to students’ homes in the area of Montclair, NJ. Must also be able to communicate by text, email or phone calls. This is not a remote tutoring job. Only those who are able to drive to students’ homes may apply.
