Banquet Captain for an Executive Level Meeting & Events Venue.

This position is primarily responsible for working with the GM & AGM to ensure that each event hosted at Norris Conference Centers is executed accurately and exceeds our client’s expectations.

The Banquet Captain is in charge of working with our events service and banquet setup staff to ensure accurate and timely food & beverage service, room setup, and audio/visual equipment and being accountable for executing events.

DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Visible and available to assist the client with various details of hosting an event from delivering materials to event rooms, to directing to specific rooms.

Ensuring each room is set up with contracted services prior to the client's arrival, assisting in making any last-minute arrangements for meetings, manage and participate as needed with the timely service and clean up food and beverage services.

Conducting pre-function reviews with Norris and Temp labor staff to overseeing the actual event from setup to service to resetting event space for future events.

Will require working some evenings & weekends (but not limited to this time frame)

TABC & Food Handler Certification required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 35 per week
