Assistant Store Manager
We're seeking a skilled and motivated assistant retail manager. If you have a passion for retail and customer service, are a strong communicator, you are the ideal candidate we are looking for.
Responsibilities:
- Actively work the sales floor, interacting with customers and employees to achieve the store's sales goals
- Stay up-to-date on the latest biking trends and technology in order to provide accurate and helpful recommendations to customers (training will be provided)
- Organize, implement, and validate staff training
- Participate in the annual budgeting process, quarterly/monthly financial review meetings, and other meetings as necessary
- Sales, merchandising, daily task list, Lightspeed POS accuracy and updates, analytics
- Monitor store supplies and ordering or purchasing additional supplies as needed
Ensure the store is reorganized and set for the next day, and secured at closing
Qualifications:
- Bike shop or other bike industry experience, ideally in a managerial role
- Sales management, product sales, and/or customer service experience, ideally in a specialty retail environment
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Experience with POS system and inventory management
- Hands-on experience with Lightspeed Bicycle a plus
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, Excel, QuickBooks
- A self-starter mentality that consistently delivers an outstanding, personalized retail experience
