This is a paid internship opportunity for a college student or recent graduate who loves small children and is trustworthy. The Goddard School Bowie will support you in your educational endeavors while you gain professional work experience. ------------ The ideal candidate is enrolled or completed course work in in child and adolescence or early childhood education. The intern will assist the Lead Teacher with the following: • Establishing and maintaining a safe, healthy, and nurturing learning environment. • Advancing children’s physical and intellectual competence. Supporting each child’s social and emotional development and providing positive guidance. • Establishing positive and effective family relations. • Ensuring an effective program, responsive to children’s needs. • Maintaining professional commitment.
