IT Systems - Paid Internship
Position Summary
Direct One is seeking a motivated IT Systems Intern to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for students or recent graduates looking to gain hands-on experience in the field of Information Technology. As an IT Systems Intern, you will assist in the maintenance, support, and enhancement of our IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, eager to learn, and possesses strong problem-solving skills. Position Functions:
- Assist in the maintenance and support of IT systems and infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues for end-users.
- Support network administration tasks, including monitoring and maintenance.
- Assist with system upgrades and software installations.
- Provide technical support and guidance to staff members.
- Document technical procedures and update IT manuals.
- Participate in IT projects and contribute to team initiatives.
- Participate in security audits and vulnerability testing.
- Understand security and compliance requirements as they relate to IT systems and processes.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of computer systems, networks, and IT infrastructure.
- Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, macOS)
- Familiarity with M365 applications including Teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
