Mental Health Counselor Intern

This is a remote position (virtual), and we operate in multiple states: MD, DC, VA, NC, GA, and FL.
Position Summary: The therapist will offer a broad spectrum of psychological and social care services, including:
- Clinical assessments
- Treatment planning
- Crisis intervention
- Various therapy forms
- Psychoeducation
- Goal setting
- Medical record maintenance
- Referrals and continuity of care
- Team clinical meetings and education sessions
- Mentorship

Education:
- Must be in a Master's degree program or possess a Master's or Doctoral degree in Professional Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health, or a related field.
Professional Experience:
- 2+ years of clinical social work in a mental health or healthcare setting.
- HIPAA-compliant home office.
- Experience with multicultural clients; veteran counseling experience is a plus.
Licensure/Certification:
- Pursuing a Master's degree in mental health or already have a license in Maryland, DC, Virginia, North Carolina, or Georgia.
Technology and Equipment:
- Fully equipped home office.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, Adobe, and other relevant applications.
