Welding Assistant

About the Job

Ultimate Image Printing is looking for experienced sign fabricators/welding assistants to join our newly added fabrication and electrical sign department.

 

Sign fabricators will work with shears, brakes, saws, power tools, and various other tools along with LED lighting, channel benders, trim caps, and all other aspects of building out monuments and channel lettering signage.

Monday - Friday- Day shifts (7am - 4pm)

 

Industry Experience (items below are a plus):

• MIG Welding.
• Low Voltage LED installation.
• Mounting adhesive vinyl to acrylic.
• Routing on CNC router.
• Crating/Packing.
• Painting (using spray gun or roller)
• Using Auto Brake.
• Using metal shears.
• Channel bending.
• Application of Trim Cap.
• Understanding of signage. (halo letters, front lit, raceways, etc)

Requirements:

• Ability to read and process written instructions.
• Have experience in cutting aluminum within 1/16" precision.
• Ability to measure using a standard measuring tape.
• Understand decimals and fractions of measurements (inches, mm, cm, etc)
• Able to use handheld power tools (drills, rivet gun, etc)
• Able to use table saws, miter saw, and other tools.
• Basic computer experience.
• Able to work with low voltage lighting.
• Willingness to learn new things.
• Able to perform tasks while standing, bending, lifting, walking, twisting and sitting.
