SUMMARY OF POSITION: To help with the flow of products and stock through warehouse. To ensure inventory is processed, organized and stored.

SCHEDULE:  Monday – Friday 7:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. – 30 Hours per week to start.  Position may become 40 hours per week in the future.

Temporary full time work available from July to September for students on summer break. Must be 19 years of age.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: 
•    General Maintenance of building and grounds.
•    Move inventory and materials across facility.
•    Report damaged or missing inventory to Production Manager.
•    Remove inventory from trucks for shipping and delivery 
•    Load trailers with supplies.
•    Operate heavy machinery like forklifts to move or store inventory.
•    General Maintenance and cleaning/washing of vehicles and machinery.
•    Other duties as assigned by Warehouse Manager.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS/ABILITIES:
•    Exceptional attention to detail.

•    Equipment maintenance.
•    Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus.
•    Strong work ethic and desire to perform quality work.
•    Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
•    Highly organized and able to store items efficiently.
•    Must follow all health and safety procedures and regulations as dictated by the organization and OSHA.

LEVEL OF SUPERVISION:
•    None.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
•    High school education or equivalent
•    Construction safety certification such as OSHA training is a plus.
•    Previous experience in maintenance and warehouse work a plus!

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

•    Physical fitness level that will allow for quick movement, climbing, bending, and lifting heavy loads.
•    Physically able to lift 50 – 75 pounds or more on a frequent basis. 
•    Endurance to spend hours working in extreme weather conditions such as heat or cold.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT
•    Work is performed outside.

Benefits:
1 hour sick leave for every 40 hours worked.  Able to use sick leave after 90 days.
Vacation after 1 year.
First of the month after 90 days, employee is eligible for medical, dental and vision benefits. Employer pays 73% of employee medical premium.
Paid holidays after 90 days.

Wage: $20.00 per hour
