Tax Preperer

Join our team as a Tax Preparer and help clients navigate the complexities of tax regulations. We are seeking a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in tax and accounting to provide expert tax preparation services.

Duties:

- Prepare and file accurate tax returns for individuals or businesses

- Conduct in-depth reviews of financial records to ensure compliance with tax laws

- Utilize software such as QuickBooks, Drake, and other tools to analyze financial data and prepare tax returns

- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns regarding their taxes

- Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure accurate filings

- Collaborate with clients to maximize tax savings opportunities

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field

- 5 Years minimum proven experience as a Tax Preparer

- Strong knowledge of technical accounting principles and practices

- Proficiency in using accounting software and tools for financial analysis

- Excellent math skills with the ability to analyze complex financial data

- Certification such as Enrolled Agent (EA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is preferred

Nice-to-Have Skills:

- Understanding of corporate tax laws and regulations

- Experience in preparing complex individual or business tax returns (1065, 1120s, 1120, 1041, 990)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year depending on experience and years of preparation
