Job Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and tech-savvy Store Assistant to join our computer/phone repair shop. The ideal candidate will be passionate about technology, customer-focused, and eager to assist with day-to-day operations. You will play a key role in ensuring a smooth operation of the business by providing excellent customer service, organizing store, and assisting the store manager in daily operation of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Greet and assist customers with inquiries, providing information on services, pricing, and product availability.
  • Sales Support: Help customers select products and services that meet their needs.
  • Part/Tool Management: Maintain accurate stock levels, perform regular inventory checks, and ensure that all tools are organized in right spots.
  • Administrative Tasks: Process transactions and keep records of sales and repairs on POS system.
  • Repair Support: Assist the technical team with basic troubleshooting, diagnostics, and preparation of devices for repair.
  • Store Maintenance: Ensure the store showroom and back office are clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
  • Product Knowledge: Stay updated on the latest computer and phone hardware, software, and repair techniques to assist customers effectively.
  • Customer Follow-Up: Contact customers regarding the status of their repairs or orders, ensuring timely communication and service delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Additional technical training or certification in computer repair is a plus.
  • Experience: Previous experience in retail, customer service, or a computer/phone repair shop is preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Basic understanding of computer and phone hardware, software, and common repair issues. Willingness to learn technical skills. 
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to keep accurate records.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and assist with basic technical issues.
  • Customer-Focused: Friendly, approachable, and committed to providing excellent customer service.
  • Team Player: Willingness to collaborate with other team members and assist as needed.
  • Mon-Sat, 10am-6pm with one day off during the week.
