To perform this job successfully, an individual must have basic mechanical, problem solving, and oral and written communication skills. A technician must have the discipline to work with little supervision and ability to handle several projects simultaneously. Computer experience including the use of e-mail, internet, ability to navigate a parts lookup software package and general ability to read diagrams. The individual must be able to lift machines, with a dolly, weight of 40-70 pounds and be able to stand/sit for most of an eight-hour shift. Position requires frequent lifting, walking, bending, twisting, reaching, squatting, and driving.
