Job Description & Key Responsibilities:


We are seeking a dynamic Senior Accountant to actively manage our daily operations. This role involves direct engagement in general ledger, accounts payable, cash receipts, reconciliations, and both month-end and year-end processes.


Responsibilities include:


Recording various revenue streams, billing, and account reconciliations
Managing intercompany billing of receivables, tracking outstanding balances, and reconciliations
Supporting the accounts payable function for select business lines
Overseeing the monthly and quarterly close process and related reporting for company subsidiaries
Assisting in the annual financial statement audit of the parent company, including writing process narratives
Playing an integral role in ERP implementation and post-implementation administration (e.g., chart of account maintenance, reports)
Monitoring and analyzing accounting data and performing reconciliation for select business units
Assessing current practices and procedures, and making recommendations for improvements
Creating ad hoc reporting as requested
Qualifications & Experience:


Bachelor's degree in Accounting
3-5 years of progressive accounting experience focused on operating efficiency, accuracy, and reliability
Public accounting experience strongly preferred
CPA strongly preferred
Thorough knowledge of U.S. GAAP
Experience with sophisticated accounting software (e.g., Great Plains, NetSuite)
Strong desire for automation and advancing technology with hands-on experience in accounting software
Ability to work well with systems, technology, and people
High proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
Excellent written and verbal communication skills across all organizational levels
Well-organized, detail-oriented, with the ability to prioritize tasks
