Summary/Objective:
The Repair Technician is responsible for providing time sensitive and cost efficient repair and refurbishment services for all used product – both customer repairs and product to be sold for company owned online channels. This role serves as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on multiple generations of product design
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
• Complete poleset, zipper and sewing repairs
• Log Repair status for cases in Net Suite
• Gear testing
• Inspect product to identify needed repairs – for customer owned product and used product to be sold
• Prototype alterations for RD
• Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) on multiple generations of product design
• Be familiar with Big Agnes Warranty Repair and Replacement policies and processes to advise Big Agnes customers on placing online claims and following up with solutions.
• Support Receiving in Customer product as needed
• Assist with harvesting projects to support the repair supplies inventory
• Other special projects related to Big Agnes Service, Sales, and Marketing as needed
• Keep inventory and order repair equipment as needed

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree desired
• 2+ years Customer Service in the Outdoor Industry
• Ability to collaborate and support team goals
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Development of strong and efficient user knowledge in NetSuite, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft WORD, Fedex Shipping Manager, Google docs, outdoor industry brand sites including ------------

Working Environment/Physical Activities:

• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Ability to sit for long periods of time (90% day)
• Ability to maintain a good sense of humor and calm under pressure
• Technical Sewing and Repair Skills
• Avid backpacker
• Aptitude for mechanical repairs
