POSITION SUMMARY

The Project Coordinator is a critical role that will liaise between the project management team and Operations to ensure optimal organizational efficiency. Duties include improving information systems and updating project information while supporting the project management team with standardized templates and routine assignments. The Project Coordinator will use superior organizational and planning skills to assist the WhiteSpace organization in delivering streamlined internal interaction and supporting client relationships to enhance our business model.

The successful Project Coordinator will possess strong leadership skills, strategic thinking abilities, superior interpersonal skills and the ability to prioritize while keeping an eye on the next step.


 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

OPERATIONS ACTIVITIES:

In this role, the Program Coordinator will work closely with the Vice President to ensure streamlined process as well as updated and complete project records.

PROJECT TEAM RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position is also responsible for overall project management team support, including but not limited to the leader and project managers for the specific discipline assigned. This work will be performed under general supervision.

 

CONTACTS

Internal contacts include WhiteSpace team – President/CEO; Vice President, Director of Operations and project managers as well as external contacts including marketing professionals, architects, contractors, and vendors.


EDUCATION

An undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university with a focus in Computer Science, Business, Information Technology, or related discipline. In the absence of a degree, related job experience in project management (preferably in the real estate industry), where a number of years and proven knowledge may offset the degree requirement.


EXPERIENCE

In addition to the education outlined above, at least 1 year of progressively responsible experience in commercial real estate construction and/or IT/OT project manager role preferably within the real estate industry. A proven track record in accomplishing objectives on assigned projects through collaboration among various workers, and seeking answers to obtain satisfactory end results.


 

OTHER SKILLS

The Project Coordinator position requires a self-motivated, team-player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to effectively prioritize in a fast-moving environment. Requires analytical skills and close attention to detail. Must possess excellent skills in MS Office Suite, basic IT skills and willingness to learn additional software programs. Proficiency Bluebeam and AutoCAD is required; training will be provided.


 

LOCATION and WORK ENVIRONMENT

This is an in-office position based in greater Cleveland, OH.

 

TRAVEL

Travel for this position is approximately 25% as required by project needs; occasional.
