Preschool Teacher's Aide

We are seeking a preschool aide to join our organization!

 

Responsibilities:

 

• Interact with preschool-aged children in activities designed to promote intellectual and creative growth
• Maintain a fun and safe learning environment
• Support the teachers in the schedules and routines to ensure adequate physical activity, rest, and playtime
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with students and parents
• Maintain the health and safety of all students
• Help with snacks and lunch, extracurricular classes, and transitions
• Support parents in the potty-training process
• Changing diapers

Qualifications:

 

• Previous experience in childcare or other related fields
• Passionate about working with children
• Ability to build rapport with children and parents
• Positive and patient demeanor
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Minimum of 6 units of Early Childhood Education with more planned to be completed (can be currently enrolled)
• Be able to pass a fingerprint and background check
• Professional, energetic, empathetic, works well with others

Hourly Rate based on qualifications, experience, and training, $17-19/hour. Please provide references with a resume.
