**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. As a Preschool Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that encourages children's growth, exploration, and development. Play based curriculum.

**Duties:**

- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum to stimulate children's cognitive, social, spiritual, and emotional growth

- Foster a positive learning environment that promotes creativity and exploration

- Provide individualized attention to each child to support their unique needs and interests

- Collaborate with parents and co-teacher to ensure the best possible outcomes for each child. Foster positive communication with all stakeholders.

- Monitor and assess children's progress to track development and address any concerns

- Maintain a safe and clean classroom conducive to learning

- Utilize effective communication skills to interact with children, parents, and colleagues

**Experience:**

- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred, 12CD/ECE units minimum.

- Proven experience working with preschool-aged children, 2 years minimum. 

- Knowledge of child welfare practices and Play Based principles

- Familiarity with literacy education and special education techniques

- Ability to develop engaging curriculum tailored to preschool students

- Experience in a private school setting is a plus

- Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively engage with young children

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.50 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week

Schedule:

 

• 7-8 hour shift  8am - 5pm or 8am - 3pm
• Monday to Friday

 

Work Location: In person
