Essential Job Functions:

  • Implement selected components of care and interventions in a technically competent manner.
  • Identify patient’s needs and exhibit compassion, caring, and empathy for individual differences
  • Recommend options, courses of action, or modifications in selected treatments ensure the patient's progress, safety, and comfort
  • Apply the latest research related to restoring function, reducing symptom frequency, and preventing injury.

Basic Qualifications

Education:

  • Associate or bachelor's degree in PTA or a related field.

Experience:

  • Proven working experience as a physical therapist assistant
  • Excellent knowledge of physiology best practices and standards
  • Hands-on experience with therapeutic exercises, functional training, and physical modalities
  • Ability to communicate and instruct effectively
  • Healthcare administration and documentation skills

License/Certifications:

  • Must hold a valid certification to practice or relevant certification
  • Current American Heart Association Healthcare provider BLS CPR certification.

Location: Multiple Locations

Hours: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
