We are currently seeking an Equipment-Parts Manager/Support Assoc. to join our growing organization.  He or she will be detail-oriented, have excellent communication skills, demonstrate the ability to multi-task, take initiative, and possess the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.  This results-driven individual will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service over the phone, providing pro-active follow up and overall support to efficiently solve issues as they arise.

 

General Job Responsibilities:

  • Work with customers over the phone or via email to understand their needs and provide Equipment/Parts from inventory located in multiple locations
  • Receive, move, store, and control inventory to and from warehouse(s)
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels and records by maintaining current inventory and identify future needs for inventory changes
  • Communicate with management to point out and help resolve inventory discrepancies, order levels or issues with customer needs.
  • Work from customer orders and pull parts from stock to ship via UPS/Fedex etc.
  • Receive, inspect and document equipment/parts as needed from shipments
  • Prepare shipping documents and bills of lading and arrange shipments for equipment to customer locations. 
  • Prepare the product for shipment to assure correct material is shipped to conform to customer requirements and company standards. 
  • Prepare labels, tags, instructions, and bills of lading to assure material shipped reaches the correct destinations.
  • Perform other material handling tasks as required.
  • Local deliveries as required 

     

Skills & Abilities

  • Ability to read, write and process all instructions.
  • Ability to verbally communicate effectively with others.
  • Ability to operate material-handling equipment (such as forklifts, scissor lifts, etc.)
  • Ability to work accurately with basic keyboard and monitor interfaced with the mainframe computer to enter work order data as required.

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • A high school diploma or equivalent with at least two (2) years of related experience.
     

PHYSICAL DEMANDS, WORKING CONDITIONS & DISCLAIMER

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand and use hands and fingers, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls. 
  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. This job occasionally requires loading and unloading extremely heavy parts with aid of lifting devices. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts.
