Mental Health Therapist

Therapy Alliance of Michigan is looking for qualified, self driven, and independent contractual therapists to join our team. 

Responsibilities:

• Establish open lines of communication for individuals with mental or emotional issues
• Conduct individual, couple, or family therapy sessions on time and ethically
• Complete intake assessments, process notes, treatment plans, and other necessary paperwork as needed
• Implement and review treatment plans
• Collaborate with additional treatment providers and placement agencies, as needed
• Ensure all documentation is completed in a timely manner
• Utilize therapeutic interventions within your expertise.

Qualifications:

• Licensure in Michigan to provide therapy/counseling services (must be in good standing with licensing board)
• Master's Degree is REQUIRED
• Full licensure is preferred; however, limited licenses are accepted
• Previous experience in mental health counseling or other related fields
• Familiarity with community mental health resources
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Ability to build rapport with clients
