Facility Physical Environment: School Based-Baltimore-options on a variety of schools.

 
Essential Duties: Provide developmentally and educationally appropriate assessments and therapy services to children aged 0-21 years of age. Write IEP/IFSP goals and objectives to address the educational impact identified by the IEP/IFSP team, in the assessment report, the general education curriculum and/or to address family concerns. Additionally, OT shall provide direct and indirect services as outlined in each student’s IEP or IFSP during regular school hours. 

Qualifications  

Education: Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from a program accredited by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE) 

License: 

  • Certified Occupational Therapist (OT) by the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) or Certified Occupational Therapist Registered (OTR) by the National Board in Certified Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)

Experience: 

  • At least one year of experience working with children with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
